Engineer Tank Systems
Engineer Tank Systems (ETS) consists of two vehicles: TITAN - an armoured bridge laying vehicle that will replace the British Army’s existing Chieftain bridge-layer (CH AVLB); and TROJAN – an armoured obstacle clearing vehicle that will replace the existing Chieftain vehicle (CH AVRE). TITAN and TROJAN are due to enter service with the British Army in 2005.
Argo Media staff worked in conjunction with a specialist e learning company and BAE Systems Land Systems to conduct a full JSP502 compliant Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for the operation and maintenance of the vehicles by Royal Engineers (RE) and Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) respectively, then developed the video content which is delivered at a number of main training centres for Royal Engineers users and REME maintainers We produced a number of complex video sequences for the project, including an overview of both vehicles and their capabilities, fire fighting, casualty evacuation and specific operations including fitting and removing the mine plough and firing Python, the mine clearing rocket system.
