Richard started his career in television in 1981, following a successful period as a mature degree student. He worked on major news and current affairs programmes such as DISPATCHES, DIVERSE REPORTS, EUROPE EXPRESS and PANORAMA as a researcher and producer.
In television production, his credits include developing Kabul Autumn, the other side of the Afghan War and a number of major educational programmes covering how to use information technology and programmes to help people understand how to run small businesses. He developed and worked on programmes for Channel 4, the BBC, ITV and satellite broadcasters and contributed to programmes that won BAFTA and Royal Television society awards for educational series in various categories.
Richard has worked as the Head of Production at Argo Media for over five years, leading the team on many productions ranging from military training to business marketing.
